Born and raised in a small farm-town in the Kansas heartlands, I originally started my creative passage through cinematography. My work mainly consisted of promotional material and wedding compilations. Over the years, my passions have led me elsewhere, into the realm of stills and time lapses. With a diverse background in cinematography, the appeal of taking stills grew from the idea of telling a complex story with a single frame. The material I draw from includes landscape, storm and macro photography. Capturing stills, to me, is a way to preserve the beauty of a wondrous moment and share it with the world. The photo is not taken for myself; rather, it is a view of what I believe others should see.
